VTG Shimano 600 Arabesque BMX Single Crankset 170mm 40T 1978 Old School

Shimano Arabesque 600 Single Crankset Very nice overall condition! Made in Japan, with standard 9/16" pedal threading. Great tapers, 40 tooth single ring. Set up for old school BMX. Chainring bolts are not branded. Date codes "CJ" and CK" = October and December 1978. A couple of scratches on the side of the crank arm (pictured). Some marks from pedal mounting. 170mm arms. I also have a second one for sale, with a 42 tooth chainring and shorter arms.
I have been collecting vintage bicycles for almost 50 years now (I started with them when they were new, I just didn't move on to the modern stuff). As you can imagine, I have acquired a lot of spare parts over the years. I am now retired and its time to move some of it on to someone who can use and benefit from them. I am not expert but have a passion for the restoration of old bicycles.
I have been selling on eBay for over 23 years now (January of 2000). I am a retired engineer and pride myself on careful yet efficient packing. My feedback goes back to the beginning, not many sellers can say that. I also buy stuff (like I need more)...
