4/29/2023 I have lowered the price by 15% to make this more accessible and added some detail shots upon request.. this should allow for a Sugino Mighty Chain ring until you find a rare Campy Gold Anodized one . Uber Rare BCD 151 vintage PISTA 165 Gold Anodized version .
When I bought this set some ten or twelve years ago , you could still find the chain rings occasionally in the matching slightly dark shade gold in CAMPAGNOLO PISTA .
I have not seen any listed in the past few months , but they will come around eventually .
A Campagnolo Pista BCD 151 or a Sugino Mighty BCD151 will always look the best with a CAMPY PISTA crank arm set while you're waiting to find the elusive Campy Chainring in Gold.
This set appears totally unused , but to my eye appears to have been fitted once to a bottom bracket , and once with pedals , likely for display (before I bought them) as I can see only a few signs of use with only a couple/few marks to the crank arms from any use . There is a small ding in the anodizing to one of the sides of the left (non-drive ) arm as pictured in photo #5 .
If the set was used , it was only ridden a couple times as the tell tale signs of being rubbed by a shoe or a toe strap to the face of the crank arm are simply not there. There are a few minor marks on the narrow sides.
These are the same exact conditions as when I bought the set as I have kept them in the layered bubble wrap plus sealed air bag just as I received them and have not fitted them to anything .
Very beautiful vintage crankset for a special PISTA build !
